1. How to tell if it's a bad guy:
As we're driving by some houses being built, little girl says she saw a guy on the roof. A bad guy.
I asked how can you tell it's a bad guy?
Bigger girl asks: Was he wearing black?
Little girl says: yes
BG: black pants?
LG: yes
BG: Black shirt?
LG: yes
BG: Black hat?
LG: yes
BG: Black mask on his face?
LG: yes
BG: Oh- definitely a bad guy. For sure!
2. As we're out walking, (Well, me pushing little man and little girl in the lovely double stroller, and big girl riding her bike) big girl is talking and talking and talking.
So this is some of what she is saying as we go along our merry way:
There sure are a lot of beautiful bugs out today. Look at all those white bugs. I love lady bugs. They are the best. Oh and dragonflies. I like dragonflies. But not bees. No way. But bees make yummy honey. And I love honey. Grandma is like a bee because she makes yummy jam.
That Grandma bee sure does make yummy jam. And salsa. hmm.. might have to go get some.
3. I can't do it. I can't leave little man screaming in his crib reaching out his arms to me. It's so hard. So I've caved. But he's been sleeping through the night- well except for last night, when I caved and held him. But I did put him down awake and he did go to sleep. So it's all ok- right? I've probably ruined it all.
4. Little girl and big girl are sharing a room again. When we moved, big girl wanted her own room. So little girl and little man shared. But then the girls wanted bunk beds again. So we made the switch. Plus it's easier with little man learning to sleep on his own. Before we'd move little girl to our room when she was asleep, put little man to bed, move little girl back once he was asleep. Thankfully she stayed asleep through all the transfers. Now little girl can play in her room while he naps. So it's all good. I've also noticed the girls play together way more now and get along better. It's nice!
5. If you have to make an appointment to get a blood test, wouldn't it make sense to have appointments available? Somewhere? There's none today, tomorrow, or the next day. As in NONE. Anywhere. Even far away. Nice.
Hope I'm not dying of something that needs the results back fast.
I'm fine. I think. Lest you are worried. Don't be.
6. Nothing like going to the doctors with all 3 kids and getting put in the small squishy room, and having the doctor come in with a medical student. Wow- crowded. Guess most people go alone. Or something.
7. It's finally summer here. I love summer. It will be over way too soon. Really.
8. Happy Thursday!
